Computer Group Meeting

The next computer group meeting will be held on Wednesday 2nd November at 2 p.m. in Abbots Leigh at the Web Masters home - 4 Knightcott Road ( First right Off Sandy Lane.)

The Agenda is as follows:-

1. Wireless networking
   - Demonstration and Discussion of methods and equipment available - including how to store passwords and secrets on a network.
2. Laser disk (CD or DVD)Recording
   - Third Party Programs like Nero versus Using XP operating system capabilities direct. Demonstration including video recording and discussion. Interesting video supplied by Harry George.
3. Google Earth
   - An interesting free application where users can contribute to the data available to all and sundry - Demonstration
4. Interesting Websites
   We might browse. Suggestions Welcome
   
   Coffee/Tea and biscuits - 50p charge to cover costs including printed material.
   
   

Any RPEC members are welcome - new members to the Group are sought - Computerising changes so fast that we all tend to be beginners for a very long time - expertise is not a requirement.
